80% of Columbia & Greene County Residents say that stores near schools should not sell tobacco, and 70% say they would support a law to restrict tobacco sales near schools.

• City of Binghamton – no sales within 500 feet adopted through zoning in 2012
• Ulster County – no sales within 1000 feet, local license in 2015
• City of Newburgh – no sales within 1000 feet, local license in 2015
• Town of Niskayuna – no sales within 1000 feet, zoning in 2017
• Sullivan County – no sales within 1000 feet, local law in 2017
• Village of Tannersville – no sales within 1000 feet local law in 2017
